This is a picture of some people who were part of are target audience of our media product. I connected my laptop up to a TV so they could watch are opening scene .This enable us to gather audience research and find out which parts of the opening worked well , than we asked a few questions after, mainly finding things to improve.
There were 3 mains points that we established doing this:
- First was flashback wasn't consistent enough. We fixed this by extending the time of the flash back,which is shown by a flash of white on the screen, and we made sure that it went, garage scene, driving, garage scene, driving so that it was a consistent flow.
- The next highlighted point, was they thought the music suited the clip very much, and the change in music during the shooting scene created a more tense atmosphere.
- The last point was one of the boys picked up that 'manager' was spelt wrong so we had to address this situation immediately which was good that someone picked up on this.
