Choice of Non-Diegetic Sound
The music was probably the most important part, it created tension during critical part of the opening scene. The problem was finding music that was non-copyrighted.
The second song was used for the main soundtrack to created a specific atmosphere. This was perfect music for opening, creating a dramatic atmosphere for the audience . This also was non- copyrighted music.

Editing (iMovie)
To edit are film opening we used iMovie, which is a editing software design by apple. The software was very user friendly, but a time had the capability to achieve same complexed task.
Below are pacific editing points :
1) When editing we used different transition effect to simulate a variety of different responses that effected the way the audience perceived the change in clip. An example of this is flashback. To represent a flashback we faded to a white background and then into the clip . This helped determined a change in time and place. An example of this is shown below.
2) When editing a flashback we added an overlay to the clip, This helped the audience to identify that they were in a flashback or not. An comparison of the change in overlay is shown below.
3) When editing we used music to build up tension creating a more dramatical effect for the audience. Playing the opening without music really detracts from the correct feel that the opening it trying to portray. An example with and without music will be embedded below.
4) When editing the gun shot we had to use per-keyed footage to add a special effect on to the original clip. In IMovie we used picture on picture mode which aloud me as the editor the add two clip into one frame. Below I will insert the timeline. This will show how i edited the clip.
